Coming from the DC/Maryland area, is a band called Timber. These guys play really interesting and fun music. Driving rhythems, raw youthful vocals, and melodic guitar work that will chill your bones. Think of the prime 90s post-hardcore bands like The Nation of Ulysses, Drive Like Jehu, and Kerosene 454 for a good picture of how Timber sound.
